Monika Jociute

Born and raised in Lithuania, I started pursuing a career path in healthcare at a young age. I joined the Novo Nordisk family in November ‘22 and shortly after, NovoNations. Today, I am an Associated Improvement Project Manager in Digitalization & Process Improvement, Device and Delivery solutions in Hillerød.

​

I started my career as a physiotherapist, and then shortly after graduation, I moved to Copenhagen to study and learn the business side of healthcare. I graduated with my MSc. in Business Administration and Innovation in Healthcare from CBS. After graduation, I worked at General Electric Healthcare within Internal Supply Chain Management and Process Improvements for ultrasound demo units in Denmark, Norway and Iceland.

In my spare time, I love traveling, cultural and outdoor activities with friends, yoga and reading books.

I am passionate, driven and always look for opportunities to bring positive change -volunteering in an organization promoting diversity & inclusion is a great example. Being an extrovert and an expat, I understand the importance and struggles when creating a new life and social circle after relocation. It is my pleasure to be part of the Board, where we, among many other things, strive to help integrate our expat NovoNations members.
