Born and raised in Brazil and having always had a curious look into the world’s diversity, after my medical studies I moved to the Netherlands to pursue an academic career. Soon after I moved to Germany for my PhD and then to start my specialisation in endocrinology. In August 2023, destiny brought me to Denmark and to Novo Nordisk.
Having already lived in more than 10 cities in 4 countries, I have come to value a community which engages in making life more exciting for newcomers (and also old-commers, of course). Therefore, joining NovoNations and its executive board of Networking & Activities immediately after joining Novo Nordisk was a “no brainer”. Experiencing that people are feeling warmly welcomed and are being able to more easily adapt and find their way into a new environment gives me enormous joy.
Outside work, I love outdoor sports, everything related to nature and reading with my cats.
